Exceed Microneedling
Exceed Microneedling – The treatment you’ve been waiting for
The Exceed™ microneedling device is the latest technology that is quickly replacing dermal rollers and other methods on the market. Clinically-proven to improve facial acne scars, the Exceed™ treatment produces excellent results after just 12 weeks depending on skin condition.
Microneedling also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), is a non-surgical treatment that uses very fine, short, sterile needles to create tiny perforations in your skin, prompting a natural, collagen-stimulating healing process that corrects flaws and improves skin quality. This minimally invasive facial treatment is clinically proven to deliver skin improvement over time for anti ageing to acne and everything inbetween.
As this treatment does not work with a heat based modality (such as lasers), it is perfect for all skin types as it minimises the risk of hyperpigmentation.
The EXCEED is the worlds first FDA double cleared Microneedling device for the treatment of acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, in particular to reduce the depth of scars and normalise the structure of the skin.
Exceed is the only device on the market which is safe to use on the eye area.
Other benefits:
Skin regeneration
Increase natural collagen formation
Reduction in pore size and improved skin texture
Clinically proven
No numbing necessary
Comfortable treatment
Minimal downtime
Treatment cannot be performed on clients with un-diagnosed lesions or skin infections, skin with recent herpes outbreaks, severely inflamed skin, sunburn, scleroderma, severe cases of rosacea, diabetes or have other auto-immune system disorders, or those undergoing cancer treatment.
Following the treatment the skin may display mild redness and feel like mild sunburn. There may also be a few pin prick spots visible these can appear on the forehead, hairline and jawline which are more “bonier” areas of the face.. This is perfectly normal and to be expected, and will feel totally normal again within 24 – 48 hours. It is also normal for the skin to feel a little tight followed by some mild peeling or flaking.
Your health and safety is extremely important to us! That is why we go to extraordinary measures and invest heavily in 100% sterile, single use ancillaries including cotton balls and surgical gloves. No expense is spared!
If your skin is in a bad state, barrier impaired, dry, flaky and overall struggling to heal and maintain itself, then microneedling isn’t going to correct that issue alone. It simply adds insult to injury!
We work with you – professionally and sensibly – rebuilding and strengthening your skin to ensure the best possible outcome.
Skin Needling can be performed on almost anyone however, we do adhere to strict health and safety protocols and this means we require you to undergo an in-depth skin health consultation and be using prescribed home care products prior to skin needling.
This ensures that 1) there are no contraindications we need to overcome and 2) that your skin is actually healthy and ready to undergo such a treatment.
There are clinics that will happily needle your skin with no preparation whatsoever and with very little care. We refuse to do this.
We believe in quality, not quantity – and will not perform skin needling on you ‘just because we can’. We want to make sure the treatment is right for you and can be performed safely and effectively.
Make sure you’re comparing apples with apples. We know cheaper options for Microneedling exist

Who can benefit for Microneedling?
Anyone who wishes to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve the appearance of hyperpigmentation or acne scars. This treatment generally creates a fresher appearance and glow to the skin.
Can Microneedling also be carried out on darker skin tones?
It is important to do your research and choose qualified and experienced therapist before you consider this treatment. When done correctly Skin needling is safe to perform on all skin tones, the needles are so tiny that it’s less likely to cause trauma to the skin.. The depth of penetration hits the dermis to stimulate collagen, but to get a scar one would have to cut into the dermis, this does not happen when skin needling is carried out correctly. Other invasive procedures such as laser resurfacing are not recommended for darker skin tones due to the potential risks of delayed wound healing, pigmentary changes and scarring. The use of skin needling is viewed as a suitable procedure as it does not affect the heightened wound healing response in darker skin. The majority of risk prevention comes before and after skin needling.
Is the treatment painful and will I need a numbing cream?
Microneedling with EXCEED device feels like a tooth brush scratching the skin, so it might feel a little uncomfortable but not painful. Numbing cream is not necessary.
How long does a treatment take?
A treatment can take up to two hours as the face, neck, décolleté, eyes, lips and scalp are all included.
